Brief

Manage all technical aspects of the event, including supplier briefing and selection, set and stage design, layout of exhibition space, supply of all technical staff and equipment during the event.

General Sessions

Corporate Theatre was responsible for all the technical management, stage and set design in the main auditorium, which was set to accommodate an audience of 6,500 USANA Associates.  The set was over 50m wide and 8m high, with a stage large enough to allow over 250 people on stage at any one time.  There were five main screens built into the set and another five delay screens positioned half-way through the auditorium.  This was required not only for the size of the venue, but to accommodate English and Chinese presentations.

The live camera feeds were from four Full HD cameras, with two on 20-foot jibs.  Complex vision switching equipment gave the Show Director total control over all visual elements including the data fold-back.  This gave us the ability to modify the system to suit each individual presenter’s needs, from what was shown on each screen and what they saw in the fold-back monitors, PowerPoint, notes, prompt and timer.

The set was designed to be completely white, which allowed the extensive list of lighting fixtures to change the colour, texture and mood of the set, as required by the individual presentations and entertainment.  Entertainment included a high-wire performance supported by a 40-piece martial arts troupe, Chinese Yo-Yo and dancers.

Video Production

Corporate Theatre’s video production unit captured all the elements of the event, including general sessions, registration, exhibition and evening functions for a highlights package that was played during the last session of the Convention.
